Saddle Strap (Y): The individual user is responsible for adjusting the length of the saddle straps and installing them on the saddle, as well as hooking the carabiner of the key-ball lanyard to the saddle every time he rides his horse.

Too many riders attach their airbag to the saddle’s d-rings instead of attaching the airbag to the Y CORD supplied with the Freejump Airbag.  BE CAREFUL THIS IS A DANGEROUS PRACTICE !

The Y CORD attaches to the bars of the saddle, and allows the KEYBALL STRAP of the airbag being perfectly centered for an optimal airbag’s inflation.
The saddle’s d-ring is absolutely not made to support the pressure of a fall !

•     Polish: by using an old rag, a towel or a polishing brush, you can give them a burst of extra shine !
•     If possible, try to not use your footwear 2 days in a row, rotate your footwear from one day to another to keep them longer !

Composition: French mouth bit with 90 mm rings and 14 mm thick cannons made of German Silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel) a relaxing and solid alloy.

Effect: loose ring bits are the simplest in terms of action from the rider but also in the horse's mouth. The large rings give a slight lever action and most of all, a better direction. The French mouth relieves the horse from any pressure on the palate.

Tips: this bit is a great classic and suit every horse type. It is perfect for young horses during their first important steps.

Maintenance advice: rinse the bit after each use to prevent any residue deposit and to avoid your horse to feel any discomfort.

Composition: Eggbut bit with 70 mm rings and standard 17 mm thick cannons made of German Silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel) a relaxing and solid alloy.
Effect: this is a very simple bit. The rings don't slide so the action is more direct. The port combines the full bit and french mouth bit interests: no pressure on the tongue neither on the palate.
Tips: this bit perfectly suits horses that are sensitive to tongue pressure. The high port helps for direction. Horses can easily place their tongue, breathe better and be more focused while working.

Full cheek French mouth Leather Covered bit 

Jump'In

Composition: full cheek bit with 50 mm large rings, Stainless Steel 20 mm thick cannons covered with leather and a french mouth part made of German Silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel: a relaxing and solid alloy). Leather Jump'In bits are very soft and comfortable for horses. Unlike stainless steel, sweet iron or other alloys, leather prevents from a too cold contact. 

Important note to our clients: leather bits are not guaranteed against bites even after the first use.

Effect: this bit has a direct action on direction with no lever action. 

Tips: this bit is the best one for channelling the horse. It is also the best for solving directional issues and it is perfectly adapted to young horses. The cannon is covered with leather to prevent a too cold contact in the horse's mouth and to offer more comfort.

The French link in this bit means pressure is applied to both sides of the tongue. Some horses with low palates may find this bit more comfortable as it is unlikely to make contact with the palate when the bit comes in to action. The full cheeks assist with steering. Mouthpiece thickness: 14mm. Cheek height: 165mm.

Composition: full cheek gag bit with 50 mm large rings and standard 17 mm thick cannons made of German Silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel) a relaxing and solid alloy.
Effect: this bit has an action on the horse balance. It makes the horse rebalance and transfer its weight on the hindquarters. The larger the rings are, the stronger the gag action is. This bit combines the gag action and the full cheek bit action so it combines balance and direction.
Tips: this bit needs special cheek pieces and can be used directly with two reins, with bit loops or with four reins. The high port helps for direction. Horses can easily place their tongue, breathe better and be more focused while working.
