Horses love this new Acavallo bit for a wide variety of reasons:

Inno Sense Flexi Soft:

• Inno Sense Flexi Soft bits are made of a very flexible elastic plastic with a flexible metal core in the bit.
• The flexibility makes this a friendly bit, suitable for sensitive horse mouths and less suitable for very strong horses.
• The plastic of the Inno Sense bits is non-toxic.

Full cheek:

• The side pieces of a full cheek have 2 bars on the side and therefore cannot be pulled through the mouth.
• These bars create more pressure on the horse's cheeks, which makes maneuverability easier.
• A full cheek is stable and quiet in the mouth, ideal for training young horses.
• Depending on the type, thickness and material, a full cheek is given a sharper or softer effect.

Straight mouthpiece features:

• A straight mouthpiece consists of 1 piece and gives pressure on the tongue, bars and lips.
• The shape and thickness of the mouthpiece determine where the pressure will be in the mouth.
• A straight mouthpiece with a tongue port gives more pressure on the bars and keeps the tongue free.
• The straighter and thicker the mouthpiece, the more pressure on the tongue.

• Poponcini Harmony bits have an extremely soft mouthpiece and provide comfort for the sensitive horse's mouth.
• The shape of the mouthpiece allows a horse to close its mouth properly, which can encourage relaxation through the mouth and head of the horse.
• A Poponcini bit is formed in Italy by a metal wire, covered with plastic, and a brass bush at the ends. A non-toxic, anti-allergic silicone layer is poured over this.

Bits made of this type of soft material have a shorter life than your standard metal bit.

A weymouth non-fixed is used together with a bradoon, the so-called double bridle. This combination is used in the higher dressage classes. Because of the pumping effect there is more movement in the bit. The horse can lift the bit slightly to reduce the pressure on the tongue. The weymouth is a cheekpiece with leverage. The longer the shanks the sharper the effect. The weymouth non-fixed has long shanks and therefore is a stronger bit than the baby weymouth non-fixed. For a double bridle combination a special bridle or an extra cheekpiece is required. In addition, this cheekpiece must always be combined with a curb chain to prevents the bit from rotating too far in the horse’s mouth. This bit is not suitable for the inexperienced rider.

This is a straight mouthpiece with a low port. The port allows freedom of the tongue. The port creates space for the tongue and decreases the pressure on the centre of the horse's tongue. More tongue freedom is ideal for horses that have a sensitive tongue or horses who stick their tongue out. This bit is not suitable for the inexperienced rider.

The Sweet Iron bits are made of steel and have a recognizable blue color. Sweet Iron will rust when it comes into contact with (air) humidity, the surface rust tastes sweet and naturally stimulates the saliva production. This will cause the horse to salivate more, which in turn will encourage a better acceptance of the bit.
