Composition : 90 mm D-rings, 6 mm thin cannons made of German silver that is a relaxing alloy, and of a stainless steel chain.
Effect : A D-ring bit helps creating a frame and keeps the horse focused. It is a good alternative to a full cheek bit. Flat cannons with two chain links that act a bit like a French-Mouth bit but with a more intense action.
Using advice : this kind of bit is quite special and allows a stronger action on the horse's mouth but with no curb chain nor lever effect.
