Fullcheek Twisted Pelham Gag with a Flat
Composition: Featuring 70 mm long shanks, 50 mm rings and a 12 mm thick mouthpiece made of German Silver, this bit combines both a gag and curb action for exceptionally strong and heavy horses.
Effect: The Pelham bit is a great compromise between the bridle and the double bridle. It
offers a lever action more or less strong depending on the cheeks length. It can be
used with two reins, bit loops, or four reins. The upper part of the bars is 1 centimeter
longer than the regular Pelham bit ones so the curb chain can be less tightened and
the bit can be more comfortable for the horse.
Tips: this bit is perfect if the intention is to get the horse to take a lighter contact and to hold itself a bit more during work.

Maintenance advice: rinse the bit after each use to prevent any residue deposit and to avoid your horse to feel any discomfort.
