REDUCED ENERGY FORMULA

Pianissimo is formulated to be a lower energy feed, with lower protein and no oats, which supports focus in hot horses. The mineral and amino acid additives provide a focused, well-centered horse.

LOW PROTEIN

Protein fed in excess of daily requirements cannot be stored in the horse's body. Horses convert protein into muscle mass by eating adequate protein and exercising. If protein synthesis occurs at the maximum rate, the un­used amino acids are broken down and excreted.

OAT FREE

Oats have long been recognized as a source of energy for the horse in work, but for the horse prone to being hot or stressed, a high energy grain with oats can increase his energy and stress levels. An oat free grain can lower his energy level.

The low levels of sugar (3%) and starch (5%) in FiberForce avoid the quick absorption of sugars in the small intestine, preventing rapid spikes in blood sugar known to aggravate existing metabolic disorders. This feed is designed to release evenly and slowly throughout the day to help re­duce bursts of insulin in the blood, making it safe for horses prone to lam­initis, ulcers, tying-up, equine polysaccharide storage myopathy (PSSM) or other muscle disorders.

ENERGY FROM FATS

Horses performing aerobic activity use oxygen to draw energy from fat sources. Fat is an important component for the diet of a horse performing in any endurance sport. It's important to provide the proper amounts of fat in the horse's diet, as research indicates there is little difference between the effectiveness of a diet with 7-8% fat or many of the high fat formulas currently available.

ALFALFA STEMS

The stems of alfalfa are high fiber and can help reduce the acidity in the stomach. The long stems encourage horses to chew, which helps them produce more saliva. Saliva helps buffer acid production in the stomach. Long fibers also help slow the passage of feed through the digestive tract.

PUFFED GRAINS TO IMPROVE DIGESTIBILITY

By puffing grains we are able to improve the starch digestibility in the foregut from an average of 5-50% to 85-90%. This reduces the risk of colic and improves the overall digestibility of the complete feed by 30%, meaning you can feed less.

We believe that the quality and source of the starch great­ly impacts digestibility. The sugar and starch content in our feeds come from high quality complex carbohydrates that are highly available to the horse's digestive system and are safely digested as energy before reaching the hindgut.

LOW MOLASSES CONTENT

We handle our ingredients carefully during the manufac­turing process to eliminate all possible dust and we limit the amount of pellets in the feed. This means Cavalor uses molasses only to increase palatibility, rather than using molasses to hide dust.

REPLENISH LOST ELECTROLYTES

Mash & Mix is perfect to give after your horse works to help him replenish his lost electrolytes. Electrolytes (salt + minerals) are produced by the body but take up to 2-3 days for the horse to naturally replenish. Give electrolytes just before and up to an hour after a heavy effort. Because horses can't store them for later use, they must be used right away.

HERBS TO STIMULATE DIGESTION

Horses are designed to be grazing throughout the day, and because modern horses are sometimes stalled, we must help support their consistent digestion throughout the day. Mash & Mix uses a variety of herbs to stimulate the diges­tive tract and increase the palatability of the Mash.

We use a variety of protein sources to create a more com­plete amino acids profile. There is protein in barley, wheat, corn flakes, oats and more. A broader amino acids profile is better for the horse's digestive system and conversion into energy.

SUGAR AND STARCH FOR EXPLOSIVE ENERGY

Non-structural carbohydrates (including starch and sugar) are broken down and absorbed in the small intestine, and then stored as glycogen in the mus­cles and liver. When a sport horse is asked to per­form short intense efforts, this anaerobic activity will break down glycogen in the muscles into lactic acid. Superforce provides the horse with the energy he needs to perform well during the intensive efforts.

VITAMIN E AND SELENIUM

The combination of extra vitamin E and selenium in Superforce combats the formation of lactic acid and avoids muscle acidification. Sufficient selenium and vitamin E supplementation has been used to prevent muscle disorders (tying-up) in some horses.

FAT AS AN EXTENDED ENERGY SOURCE

It's important to provide the proper amounts of fat in the horse's diet, although too much fat is not proven to be more effective than a balanced ratio of high quality fat.

Always give Endurix in addition to sufficient hay. Daily amount per animal: for very strenuous exercise -0,800 kg per 100 kg live body weight for normal exertion - 0.700 kg per 100 kg live body weight.

Cavalor Calm aids in the prevention of symptoms associated with stress.

Horses that perform well during training can lose their ability to concentrate owing to the stress of transport, the commotion and distraction of a different environment and the enervating events at competitions. As a result, they respond less attentively and sometimes do unexpected things. Stress caused by fear of the unknown also occurs in young or inexperienced horses during training, and they can react violently. Stress not only affects the horse's performance, but its condition, too. Avoiding stress is therefore very important. Apart from calming by the rider and/or groom and gaining sufficient experience, Cavalor Calm® may help to support those horses that need it.

CAVALOR CALM is a nutritional supplement based on herbs, having an anti-stress action but not making the horse unresponsive. CAVALOR CALM doesn't contain prohibited substances and has no negative effects on the liver and kidneys.

Cavalor Calm can be used with good results in:
- horses that are "spooky" in competition;
- horses that are too temperamental during training;
- horses that are susceptible to stress;
- stallions used as sport horses

Cavalor Calm is especially composed for horses that only exhibit "spooky" behavior at competitions and to a lesser extent for chronically nervous horses.

Composition and Safety of the Product
Cavalor Calm is a dietary feed based on herbs and contains elements that counteract hypersensitivity. Irritability through noise, light and shade, changes in temperature, unexpected movements, other horses, strange situations, etc. is counteracted by a calming effect that does not interfere with the ability to concentrate nor with motor function. Because Cavalor Calm® is strongly diluted, it has no secondary effects whatsoever: no residues and no adverse effects on the liver or kidneys.
Cavalor Calm contains: magnesium, tryptophan, herbs, vitamin B1, B6 and B12. Cavalor Calm® contains no substances that are prohibited in competitive sports.

Application
Each horse is an individual and therefore has individual needs. It is very difficult to determine an overall dose for a calming product. We recommend searching for the correct dose for your horse.

We advise a starting dose of 3 scoops per day (45g/ 1.59 oz), 2 - 3 days before an expected stressful situation.

Mix with the daily feed ration. This dose can be adjusted according to results produced. Can also be used for a longer period with a maximum of 4 weeks.

Reduce dosage gradually.

You may want to stop giving Cavalor Calm continuously to your horse, as habituation might occur.

Cavalor Muscle Motion supports healthy muscle function. Exertion from training and competition causes the formation of by-products such as lactic acid and free radicals. These can damage the muscle cells.

Cavalor Muscle Motion contains vitamin E and selenium along with a powerful combination of antioxidants and buffers for magnesium and MSM. Cavalor Muscle Motion supports and protects muscles during work.

Not every horse needs the same degree of support. If training intensity changes, we have other supplements that may better suit your horse’s needs.

Cavalor LactaTec provides stronger effects than Cavalor Muscle Motion with the highest level muscle function support during major events or periods of intense work. In addition to protecting muscle cells from damage, Cavalor LactaTec improves muscle metabolism and supports the supply of oxygen and blood to the muscles for peak performance.

Cavalor Muscle Motion might be more suitable for your horse if the muscles are not heavily loaded and you only want some extra support. Cavalor Muscle Motion keeps muscles healthy and helps protect against the harmful effects of lactic acid and free radicals.

Recommended feeding of Cavalor Muscle Motion: 15 grammes twice a day, maximum 120 grammes per horse per day.
