• Sweet copper for Better Acceptance. • 100% pinchless, no nutcracker effect. • Cheek plates position bit correctly. • Cheek plates bear on sides of the mouth providing an indirect rein effect to correct resistance tot he direct rein. • Acts on the lips, tongue, bars and pole. • Varying degrees of leverage can be applied by attaching the rein to either the bit ring or the lower ring. • Very strong action • Sizes 5”, 5 ¼”, 5 ½”
Poponcini Harmony bits have anextremely softmouthpiece and provide comfort for the sensitive horse's mouth.
The shape of the mouthpiece allows a horse to close its mouth properly, which can encourage relaxation through the mouth and head of the horse.
A Poponcini bit is formed in Italy by a metal wire, covered with plastic, and a brass bush at the ends. A non-toxic, anti-allergic silicone layer is poured over this.
Bits made of this type of soft material have ashorter lifethan your standard metal bit.
This bit allows the rein to be placed on either the main ring or smaller lower ring for more leverage whilst the copper lozenge encourages the horse to salivate.
The 5" and smaller sizes of this bit have smaller rings to ensure the bit remains in proportion. Mouthpiece thickness: 16mm. Cheek height: 120mm (4.5", 5"), 145mm (5.5", 6").
With a Sweet Copper Link: A sweet copper link offers better acceptance because it encourages the horse to chew, thus enhances the saliva production. It has a massive copper composition (90% Copper, 7% Iron + Aluminum, No Nickel) with very high strength (stronger than Argentan). Horses feel good with a sweet copper link.
Sweet Copper for better acceptance.
No nutcracker effect.
Acts on the lips, tongue, bars, and poll.
Varying degrees of leverage can be applied by attaching the rein to either the bit ring or the lower ring.
This stainless steel bit is useful when control is an issue - the three rings offer leverage options to increase the severity. The 5" and smaller sizes of this bit come with shorter cheeks to ensure the bit remains in proportion.
Composition: Stainless steel
Fabric Guide: Stainless steel is the most common material for bits. Durable, easy to clean, tasteless and it does not rust.
• Acts on the tongue, bars and pole. • Stronger lateral effect due to the center connection of the mouth piece to the cheeks. • Quicker action due to center fulcrum. • Cheek pieces provide correction to resistance to the direct rein. • Functions as a snaffle with light rein pressure. • Functions as a mullen mouth as rein pressure increases. • No nutcracker effect or palate pressure. • To protect the horse from possible pinching use one size larger than your snaffle. • Sizes 5 ¼”, 5 ½”, 6”
We love the Centaur® Pessoa Waterford Elevator Gag Bit because it makes your horse salivate, relaxing the mouth and jaw. This bit is not rigid which makes it a great choice for a horse that likes to take hold of the bit. The elevator gag helps bend the horse at the pole and provides turning control. This bit is for experienced hands.
Each side of the bit is perfectly balanced to assure total comfort and response. Lost wax cast and hand polished from the highest grade of 18/8 Stainless Steel. Lifetime guarantee against rust.

Sweet Iron Elliptical Double Jointed 2.5 Eggbutt Snaffle
Sweet iron will rust when it comes into contact with (air) humidity; the surface rust tastes sweet and naturally stimulates the saliva production. This will cause the horse to salivate more which in turn encourages better acceptance of the bit. The rusting process (oxidation) changes the blue colour of the TRUST-bit to a brownish-grey.
If a sweet iron bit is not used for a while, an orange-brown rust layer may develop on the mouthpiece. Simply remove this by wiping the bit with a damp cloth.
The Inno Sense bits come in three different models: soft, medium & hard. The mouthpieces are available in the versions; flexi, mullen and port. Bits from the Inno Sense line can be used for every horse and particularly suitable for young horses and/or horses with a sensitive mouth. The synthetic material is FDA approved, which means the material does not contain plasticizers and is non-toxic to people and animals. In addition, the flexi- and mullen model of the Inno Sense Bits line are solid because of the application of a core of stainless steel. Horses that are ridden with an Inno Sense Bit follow the hand easily and accept the bit smoothly.

The new 2 in 1 bit offers two impact levels by simply switching the sides of the bit: • If you buckle the more angular side of the bit towards the horse’s tongue, the pressure occurs more selectively. • If you buckle the round side towards the horse’s tongue, you have a softer impact.
If the sign + is visible on the mounting side, the more effective side is in use. If you cannot see the + sign from the mounting side, the softer side is in use. Changing the buckling from time to time prevents a desensitization of the horse’s mouth.

Happy Mouth bits are a gentle option for your horse. The unique apple scent encourages horses to accept the bit and the space-age polymer provides for a gentler bit. Due to the nature of their usage and material, Happy Mouth bits are not covered by warranty, with the exception of manufacturer's defects. The polymer will wear significantly faster than a stainless steel (or similar) bit.
Composition: German 3 ring bit with a 21 mm thick mouth piece made of a nylon-lined leather. Leather Jump'In bits are very soft and comfortable for horses. Unlike stainless steel, sweet iron or other alloys, leather prevents from a too cold contact.
Important note to our clients: leather bits are not guaranteed against bites even after the first use.
Effect: this bit has a gag action. The German 3 ring bit is particular as it prevents from any pinching around the usual friction areas. The lever action is progressive and slightly softer than the lever action of a classic 3 ring bit.
Tips: this bit can be used with reins fixedly attached on the bottom ring, with bit loops or with two pairs of reins. The straight flat leather mouth piece gives the purest contact possible because it is equivalent to a skin to skin contact. Leather will soften a lot when in the horse's mouth and will create a total confidence between the rider's hand, the bit and the horse.
Maintenance advice: rinse the bit after each use to prevent any residue deposit and to avoid your horse to feel any discomfort. Oil the leather with a vegetable oil (Warning: do not use neatsfoot oil or other any synthetic oil) to keep a soft and nice contact for your horse.

The MB 02 is the Myler alternative to the traditional French link or lozenge mouthpiece commonly used in snaffle bits. The MB 02 rotates onto the tongue, applying tongue pressure, but because the mouthpiece is curved, it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. The barrel in the center applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue as a traditional three-piece mouthpiece, however, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly and creates Independent Side Movement™. Sweet iron mouthpiece oxidizes and encourages salivation.

The 2-ring combination bit is a hybrid of a ring bit, shank bit, and hackamore and uses five different pressure points to disperse rein pressure. Because the noseband and chin strap are connected through the purchase, when the reins are engaged, the horse first feels nose, chin and poll pressure before he feels the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece can slide 1" before reaching a stop, where it will then engage and apply pressure. The purpose is to give the horse an opportunity to respond to the rider’s rein signals before applying mouthpiece pressure. The combination bit has Independent Swivel Cheek and the purchase is slightly angled away from the cheek to prevent rubbing. The noseband is flat leather with knotted cord on either side and the chin strap is synthetic to avoid stretching over time.
