DryTex Stormwear Waterproof Chaps which are packed full of practical and stylish features.

Made from breathable yet durable material with unique membrane and taped seams, these full chaps are fully waterproof and perfect for wet days at the yard - the rain simply beads and runs off! Waterproof rating of 5000mm and a Moisture Vapour Permeability (MVP) rating of 4000mvp.

The fleece lining provides an extra layer of warmth on the chilliest of days.

Elasticated foot straps stop the bottoms rising up whilst riding and the silicone knee grips ensure stability in the saddle. Reinforced knees and inner lower leg give added durability making sure these chaps withstand the hard work of winter.

Elasticated waist band gives a comfortable and secure fit and the hook & loop adjustments around the bottom makes getting them on over breeches or jeans easy.

Composition: full cheek bit with 50 mm rings and standard 17 mm thick cannons made of German Silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel) a relaxing and solid alloy.
Effect: this bit has a direct effect with no lever action. The French mouth system frees the horse from any pressure on the roof of the mouth. This bit is the best one for channelling the horse. It is also the best for solving directional issues and it is perfectly adapted to young horses.
Tips: the high port is a great help to get the horses to be calm in the mouth, they will place their tongue better, breathe better and in the end be more focused during work.

High-quality leather Drop Noseband with two cheek pieces that adapt on every Jump'In bridles. There is a buckle on the lower part (under the chin) to adjust the noseband and there are two small buckles that allow to precisely adjust the noseband tightness. Their actions are complementary. The Drop Noseband is appropriate for horses that tend to open their mouth or that have trouble taking their bit.

This noseband is made with adjusting cheek pieces and buckles to adapt it to the Jump'In hackamore bridle. The hackamore noseband brings more control and has a complementary action to the bit one.

The two independent cheek pieces on every Jump'In noseband make them adaptable to the Jump'In bridles. They are sold with a strap to adapt them to other bridles.

Composition: Bradoon bit with 60 mm rings and 17 mm thick cannons made of German Silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel) a relaxing and solid alloy.
Effect: loose ring bits are the simplest in terms of action from the rider but also in the horse's mouth.
Tips: this bit is perfectly adapted to be combined with a Weymouth bit as it doesn't take a lot of room in the horse's mouth. The Waterford cannons split the contact points and make the horse lighter while working.

Composition: Pelham bit with 70 mm long bars and a 30 mm large cannon made of stainless steel.
Effect: the Pelham bit is a great compromise between the bridle and the double bridle. It offers a lever action more or less strong depending on the cheeks length, the curb chain adjustment and how it is assembled. This bit makes the horse give in in the neck and exercises pressure on the mandibles.
Tips: the flat cannon is atypical but is very comfortable for certain horse as it articulates around an axis (90°) and offers a large contact surface to the horse. This Pelham bit can be used directly with two reins or with four reins. Therefore, the curb chain action can be softened by using other curb chain types as leather or nylon ones.

Composition: Eggbutt bit with 70 mm rings and 8 mm thick cannons made of German Silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel) a relaxing and solid alloy.
Effect: this is a very simple bit. The rings don't slide so the action is more direct.
Tips: Contrary to its appearance, it is not a bit with a strong action. It can be very effective for specific problems. It is perfect for horses that tend to retract their tongue during work and so that need a larger contact area.

Composition: Hackamore with a flexible rubber covered nose part, stainless steel shanks and leather curb strap.

Effect: the Hackamore has a lever action on the bridge of the nose and the chin only. It will not have any action on the inside of the mouth. It it great for horses that don't tolerate bit contact in their mouth, for those that fight the rider's hand or for those that can't be ridden with a mouthpiece.

Tips: ideally used with a Hackamore bridle. The Hackamore will be great for experienced riders or for professionals.
