ARTi-LAGE dilatant material lines the inside of the strike area for ultimate protection. The proprietary material is soft and pliable in its normal state, but changes its molecular structure to harden when struck, deflecting impact and dispersing the energy. The only XC Boot that offers two types of protection built into the boot.

Lined with a non-neoprene unique bio-foam interior, this foam is designed to be super soft but grips the horse’s leg. Lightweight with extra large perforations to prevent heat build up. Our unique "Forever Clean" breathable coating on the outer shell, cuts clean up time in half as mud, dirt, and debris slide right off with a quick rinse.

Raised strike zones down the rear of the boot create impact protection with a multi vented design allowing ventilation throughout the boot for heat transference. Traditional soft shell and leather boots have always offered protection from brushing, but the down side was limited protection from a strike. This led to many Hard Shell designs which offer this protection, but due to the nature of the “hard shell” they limit the natural range of movement of the horse.

The Arma Hot/Cold Relief Boots are therapeutic boots that can be used either hot or cold to treat injuries, speed up recovery after a strenuous workout, minimize swelling and inflammation, relieve pain, relax tight muscles, encourage blood flow to assist with healing and arthritic conditions. These boots are suitable for front or hind lower leg treatments on ligaments and tendons. These boots feature comfortable neoprene bound edges and Velcro straps that allow for a secure supportive fit. The gel packs can be heated in the microwave or cooled in the freezer.

Sizing Guideline

To choose the right size, it is necessary to measure the circumference of the front cannon bone. Take a tape measure and wrap it around the middle of the cannon bone without tightening too much to take the measurement.
