Providing excellent protection from leg interference, Valena(TM) boots are great for any riding discipline as well as for turnout. They are made from durable, heavy-duty vinyl with wide elastic and hook-and-loop straps. Valena(TM) boots are lined with WoolBack® fleece for great protection from concussion while wicking moisture away from the leg. Woolback® is 100% virgin wool, which stays lofty and won't mat after heavy use and washing.

This boot is uniquely molded from German grade BASF TPU. The outer shell is carefully engineered so that the main shell is soft enough to wrap comfortably around your horse’s leg and flex with movement, while the harder strike area is built to withstand shock at a much higher level than most boots. The addition of extra large vents lined with micro mesh filters allows generous air flow. Cool air helps prevent overheating of the lower leg, a leading cause in bowed tendons and suspensory injuries. USA Velcro closures are double stitched for durability.

Inside the Strike Guard there is a secondary layer of protection. ARTi-LAGE, is a proprietary dilatant material, only found in Majyk Equipe Boots. Soft and pliable during normal exercise, the molecules change composition, hardening to form an instant protective barrier when struck.

This inner liner is neoprene-free. The Bio foam we use helps prevent the heat build up  associated with neoprene so no yucky 'barn smell' - This makes it the perfect choice for the sensitive horse and helps keep your boots fresh and sanitary for longer.
