Our Hock Boots with Holes give you another choice for dealing with arthritic or capped hocks. Consisting of a neoprene exterior, we infused the interior of the boot with our state-of-the-art Welltex fabric containing ceramic powder which reflects your horse’s natural body warmth and creates a soothing far infrared thermal warmth. This is a well-recognized method used to help relieve and heal injured muscles, joints, and tendons. The boot fastens around the hock but leaves the hock point uncovered. Attached straps allow you to adjust the boots’ fit. When you use these boots it helps to use standing wraps to prevent them from sliding down.

The Arma Hot/Cold Relief Boots are therapeutic boots that can be used either hot or cold to treat injuries, speed up recovery after a strenuous workout, minimize swelling and inflammation, relieve pain, relax tight muscles, encourage blood flow to assist with healing and arthritic conditions. The Infinity Fetlock Boots with ARTi-LAGE Technology (Young Horse) is uniquely molded from German grade BASF TPU. The outer shell is carefully engineered so that the main shell is soft enough to wrap comfortably around your horse’s leg and flex with movement, while the harder strike area is built to withstand shock at a much higher level.   Cool air venting  helps prevent overheating of the lower leg, a leading cause in bowed tendons and suspensory injuries. USA Velcro closures are double stitched for durability. These boots are also suitable for a young horse.

Inside the Strike Guard there is a secondary layer of protection. ARTi-LAGE, is a proprietary dilatant material, only found in Majyk Equipe Boots. Soft and pliable during normal exercise, the molecules change composition, hardening to form an instant protective barrier when struck.  The foam is naturally breathable with additional perforations to help heat management. The perfect choice for the sensitive horse. A neoprene-free inner liner keeps the boot cool and doesn't harbor bacteria and fungus like neoprene.

The Kevlar® Gel Vento is a tendon boot which includes a Kevlar®fiber protective layer. Kevlar®fiber is an aramid fiber that is lightweight, impact resistant and hard wearing. The horse’s limb is also protected by a nitrexgel shock absorber film, positioned at the back of the boot.

Sizing Guideline

To choose the right size, it is necessary to measure the circumference of the front cannon bone. Take a tape measure and wrap it around the middle of the cannon bone without tightening too much to take the measurement.

Air is tunnelled through special air inlets during movement of the horse which directs accumulated body heat outwards through the technical ducted fabric. Ventilation is therefore horizontal - from the inside outwards - and vertical - from the bottom upwards: an innovative technology, never tried before.
